Senior Commercial Manager/ Consultant for a major building contractor (Osborne), operating under JCT form of contract. The role included leading the commercial team and providing commercial advice to Osborne Directors e.g.:

• Writing and evaluation of Extension of Time and Loss and Expense claims
• Preparation of claims and management of legal representation, for claims both to the Employer and against subcontractors
• Writing Adjudication Referral and Response documents
• Representing the client at Adjudication oral hearings
• Managing the Adjudication process
• Co-ordinating and managing legal representation and expert planners
• Oversee major subcontractor accounts
• Interim applications and negotiation thereof
• Identification and evaluation of Change Orders and Relevant Events together with negotiation and agreement with the client team
• Financial reporting Identification and valuation of variations and extension of time
• Representing Osborne at client meetings
• Negotiation of final accounts and commercial settlement agreements
